When did you start working for Echometer?
Anika: In March 2021.
What is your previous work experience?
Anika: Before Echometer, I did a dual course of studies in business with a focus on marketing at apetito AG and worked in a variety of areas, from marketing to human resources and controlling.
What do you like about working at Echometer?
Anika: At Echometer, I especially love the team spirit and the absolutely flat hierarchies. From my first day on, I felt very comfortable despite my "remote start". I got a lot of responsibility right away and was able to incorporate my ideas everywhere.
If you could freely choose your own job title that best describes what you do at Echometer, what would it be?
Anika: I think "marketing trainee" describes my job quite well. In principle, I'm involved in all marketing projects, whereby my focus is primarily on our email marketing campaigns and the newsletter.
Your favorite retrospective method or team workshop?
What is your personal highlight that you achieved or experienced while working at Echometer?
What was your first week at Echometer like?
Anika: My first week was full of exciting experiences and impressions. It became clear to me soon that I would have many exciting and challenging tasks from now on and that I would have a lot more responsibility for my work.
What was your biggest or funniest fuckup at Echometer?
Anika: I would say my biggest fuckup so far was that I managed to delete the assignments that our Sales Manager Andreas had just made in our tool Notion (which I unfortunately hardly knew until then) ;). Luckily, he was able to restore the assignments relatively quickly.
What is an interesting thing you learned at Echometer?
Anika: At Echometer I learn a lot of exciting new things every day and I can develop myself incredibly every day. One of the biggest things I've learned so far, is how to make decisions quickly and implement ideas directly. From my previous work in a quite big company, I was still used to the long steps from the idea to the approval of the final implementation.
How would your friends describe you in 3 words?
Anika: ambitious, communicative, open for everything
What are the values that drive you?
Anika: On the one hand, definitely the success and the results I see after implementing measures. Especially when I can achieve the goals I have set. On the other hand, the mutual appreciation in the team and the pursuit of a common goal are very important factors for me!
What are your hobbies?
Anika: My absolute favorite hobby is hip hop dancing. As a teenager I did it very actively, even at competitions. My personal highlight, the participation in a European Championship, I will definitely never forget! When I'm not working or active for Venture Club Münster e. V., you can find me regularly trying out new choreographies in my room.
